542 hp Sports Turismo has been revealed at 2017 Geneva Motor Show and goes on sale in October 2017. Though true to design and style of the Panamera family, the new Porsche Panamera range grew a whole load more practical.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has a Shooting Brake-style roof line and has already being revealed.

The good news is it looks very like 2012’s concept car. It adds a whole load of gangster-swagger to the swollen Panamera sports saloon so to speak. Porsche Panamera has presented in five variants to include Panamera 4, Panamera 4S, Panamera 4S Diesel, Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. First, it was showcased in a concept format but after four and half years, it has officially made its debut.

Everything is different, from the driver’s door B-pillar to the back, plus, there’s an extending roof spoiler – the first of its kind on an estate car. It generates up to 50kg of downforce at the rear axle for better road holding. It also gets 520 liters of luggage space that can be extended to 1,390 liters. Prices range from $96,200 for the Panamera 4 going up to $104,000 for the 4 E-Hybrid and $109,200 and $154,000 for the 4S and Turbo respectively.

The first standard-production vehicle is characterized by superior sportiness, excellent day-to-day usability, and a design that sets new standards said the head of Interior Design Style Porsche Ivo van Hulten. He also added that it is powered by a new generation of powerful engines. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will share the same engine line-up as its saloon mate, but won’t be offered in long-wheelbase Executive form. At least not initially.

The new Panamera Sport Turismo strikes a dynamic balance between career and family, leisure and driving pleasure, which is unrivaled: 4+1 seating arrangement. Chassis control systems like Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport) or rear axle steering enhance the driving experience and above all, the safety. Assistance systems like Porsche InnoDrive make driving safer and more relaxed. All Panamera Sport Turismo models are completely networked with the digital world with Porsche Connect.

Although globally, the Panamera is a big seller in China, though, Porsche assumes the Sport Turismo will be more European in appeal.

The launch line-up includes:

Panamera 4 Sport Turismo – 3.0-liter V6 Turbo Engine with330hp

Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo – 2.9-liter V6 Biturbo engine and electric motor with 462hp
