Lately, many startups projects have announced “furious” and amazing supercars, but very few of them managed to get to the stage of concept, and much less of them reached the level where their design is famous at some Motor Show.
In this area, successful companies Koenigsegg, Pagani, and Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus could be emphasized, but in the near future, the American company Lyons Motor Car has a good chance to join them.
Lyons Motor Car was founded by a graphic designer and car enthusiast, and its headquarters are located in New York. The Supercar company is called LM2 Streamliner and is working concept vehicle is unveiled at the New York Motor Show.
Inside the car, there is a flat surface with neither buttons nor ports. Instead, a charming 16-inch touch screen is well suited, capable of processing all the data. For the construction of LM2 Streamliner aluminum and carbon fiber materials will be used.
The maximum power of 1,700 hp and 2.180 Nm torque will be generated by twin turbo 8,2-liter V8 DOHC engine, built behind the cab. The transmission will use 7-speed sequential gearbox, and it will be transmitted to all four wheels.
The LM2 Streamliner will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 2.3 seconds, and to passing 100 mph will take 4.1 seconds. Its top speed will be 290 mph.
If the project will be fully implemented, the LM2 Streamliner will be the fastest car in series production.
