His 38 stolen bases in the season is the highest record ever for a Korean major leaguer, and he tied the record for an Asian major leaguer set by Ichiro Suzuki by reaching multiple bases in 15 consecutive games.

Kim Ha-seong’s side said, “After his return to Korea, we plan to prepare his body according to the program prepared in advance for next year’s season.”

Bae Ji-hwan (Pittsburgh Pirates), who played full-time for the first time this season in his second year in the big league, will also return to Korea on the same afternoon as Kim Ha-seong.
