Hennessey Venom GT is the fastest car in the world. Their Venom G has earned the title that every car in the world dreams of getting. The car is something like blink-and-you-will-miss-it because it is reaching a whopping 435 miles per hour.
The previous record was also held the Venom GT and was 426 Km/h, which showed that Americans have the fastest car ever.
Besides bringing popularity and profit, we can proudly add that Hennessey Venom GT brought a great pleasure upon the world. Back in 2010, the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport was the car that caught everyone’s attention by setting the record for the fastest car in the world. But as we all know, that crown has to be passed on.
Although the official record was set on February 14, 2014, it will not enter in the Guinness Book of Records for “irrelevant” reasons.
Hennessey can still praise itself that the Venom GT is faster than Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which had previously set a record of 429 kilometers per hour.
It is an interesting fact that with the speed of 270.49 mph or 435 km/h Venom GT made history. As some say, this record could have been even higher because the driver was still accelerating when he almost approached to the end of the closed runway in Florida, where he needed to reduce the speed from 435 km/h to 70 km/h. We talk about the supercar that has monstrous 1244 horsepower!
To be written in the Guinness Book of Records, the car needed to set the record twice, to develop as much as higher speed possible in both directions and then the average speed are recorded in the Guinness book. However, NASA is not allowed retention in “Space Center” where this event took place, so, the glorious and blistering record of the Venom GT isn’t in black and white, it will be just “in words”.
