Get ready to meet the Aeromobil 3.0, a flying car that is supposed to come in production in 2017. The Slovakian company “Aeromobil” has been working on the first ever model of a real flying car for 25 years. At the end of 2014, they announced the revolutionary Aeromobil and at the South by South West festival in Austin, Texas they officially presented their masterpiece, which will definitely make a real revolution in the transport.
The road-ready Aeromobil 3.0 with storable wings can navigate both city traffic and the airspace in between landings and take-offs from all airports around the world.
AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik argued that the Aeromobil is more than just a cool prototype. He added that he believes that flying cars will very soon be part of our daily life as a normal everyday reality and it would not necessarily require airports. He said: “We need another revolution; we need a revolution in personal transportation.”
This futuristic car will definitely make a boom in the world of automotive technology. Vaculik hasn’t announced details about the price of the revolutionary Aeromobil yet, but he hopes the car to have “wealthy supercar buyers”. He also considered the fact that technology cost keeps going down. On the road, Aeromobil will reach a speed of 160 km / h and 200km/h in the sky. The transformation from a car into a plane will take just a few seconds.
According to some rumors, the Aeromobil will cost about $200,000. Owners of the flying vehicle should have a pilot certificate before being able to operate this car.
