It is called ‘forever drift’ for a reason. Vaughn Gittin Jr. is a master when it comes to drifting. Last year, his Ford Mustang RTR drift car had an outstanding performance on a frozen.

Now he’s back for another insane sideways video, and this time, the location is at F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. His “official” car is Ford Mustang RTR. It weighs 1270 kg, has a 7.1-liter Ford Performance V8 engine by Roush Yates that “turns” to 9000 rpm and gives out more than 900 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Ford shut down the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya so Gittin Jr. could have the 2.9-mile stretch of pavement all to himself. He had no trouble driving the entire length of the track completely sideways because of his competition-spec RTR “Spec 5-D.”

He completed his drifting mission with a gigantic 3,200-foot continuous slide on the track including the F1 runoff to connect Turn 3 to the exit of Turn 4. Those black strips are going to be there for a while.

The video, titled “Forever Drift,” is full of white smoke and plenty of Mustang sideways action.
