You’ve probably heard about Burj Khalifa, the tallest structure in the world built in Dubai. The building is iconic for sure, but so as the Mustang GT Convertible. So, when you have two iconic stuff, you’d better put them together.
Ford engineers did so as part of the promotional campaign in the Middle East. They assembled Mustang GT Convertible at the top of the tallest building in the world.
Back in 1965 Ford introduced the first Mustang Convertible at the top of the Empire State Building, which was then the tallest building in the world. Given that the Empire State Building does not hold that status anymore, the new generation of American “oil” car was unveiled at the Burj Khalifa.
Six engineers of the Ford Mustang GT Convertible compiled the 122 floor of the skyscraper standing at 829.8 m. The event was part of the launch of Ford Middle East and Africa, where it plans to introduce 25 models by 2016.
