Ferrari the F40, the legendary poster icon, is one among 10 cars in a poll to find out the best supercars of all time. The poll is carried out by the organizers of The Fast Car Festival which was held in Derbyshire.
Ferrari F40 was the last model to be signed off by Enzo Ferrari himself
The company built it to commemorate the brand’s 40th anniversary in 1988. At the time, it the fastest car in the world, which was referred to as the closest thing possible to an F1 car for the road. It was, and still is a sensational looking machine.
In the survey which was carried out through June 2016, the F40 was crowned the top supercar winning 18 per cent of the total vote. The second car was the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, followed by the Ferrari LaFerrari and then McLaren F1.

These icons will be among some of the amazing and outrageous performance models in The Fast Car Festival’s Supercar Paddock. It will showcase feature cars like Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, McLaren, and Lotus as well as other extreme performance models from BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar.
The show will also be supporteded by Pistonheads, the online community for performance car fans.
The Fast Car Festival is a live, action-based event and will feature cars from all over the world. Show goers will have the opportunity to take their own vehicle out on the circuit in a numerous public track sessions. You can also have the chance for an unforgettable ride, by being on the passenger seat of some of the fastest super cars ever built for a few adrenaline-filled laps of the former F1 circuit.
