Chevrolet Camaro 1LE made its debut at Auto Show in Chicago and was one of the few cars that dominated the show. This version of the Camaro is designed to provide customers a car with which they can have fun on the track at an affordable price.
There weren’t many changes made, at least not on the exterior- a splitter under the front bumper, new grille and rear spoiler. Camaro 1LE package still includes 20-inch alloy wheels, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires and brakes Brembo.
The major changes to the car, though, are not noticeable at first sight. 1LE received limited slip differential, as well as additional cooling oil and transmission.
Besides serious steps in suspension – including a new anti-roll bar and amortization, which are taken for this purpose from Camaro SS. Camaro 1LE features a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine with 335 horsepower, which works with 6-speed manual transmission.
Camaro SS gets the same package as the 1LE, but there are more changes that include a completely new suspension and an electronic limited slip differential, front Recaro seats Brembo brakes, larger and more efficient engine – 6.2-liter V8 with 455 horsepower and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Camaro 1LE arrives at market later this year and there aren’t information about its price.
