Aston Martin CC100 is a six-liter concept unveiled to mark company’s 100th anniversary. With this concept, the company pays tribute to the DBR1 racing car, driven to victory by Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori at the 1959 Le Mans race.
The one-of-a-kind concept is a two-seater configuration in speedster, with a modern Aston Martin design. Its body is made of carbon fiber while the hoods keep a 6.0-liter V12 engine that develops 565 Horsepower with six-speed automatic transmission.
The acceleration goes from 0-100 km per hour in just over four seconds, and the speed is electronically limited to 290 mph. The car is 4.5 meters long and about two meters wide and weighs somethings less than 1,200 pounds.
The concept was developed and produced in six months at the company’s headquarters in Britain, which is such a short time to create such a remarkable sports car concept.
There is only one such model so far, which will be probably sold for a price of 770,000 to 1.54 million dollars.
This exceptional sports car concept proved once again that Aston Martin brings the creativity to its maximum when luxury is in question.
Besides its interesting retro look, the Aston Martin boasts and sound will NEVER leave indifferent.
