After 107 years, they succeeded in solving their grudge.

Keio (Kanagawa) won the 105th National High School Baseball Championship (Koshien) in Japan. Keio won 8-2 in the final against Sendai Ikuei (Miyagi) held at Koshien Stadium in Japan on the 23rd.

Keio stood at the top of Koshien 107 years after winning the second tournament in 1916. It was also the first time in 103 years since 1920 that they reached the final.

On the other hand, Sendai Ikuei, who won Koshien last year, tried to win the championship for two consecutive years for the 7th time in history, but unfortunately failed.

In the top of the first inning, Keio scored the first run with a home run by top hitter Maruta Minato. It was the first home run recorded by a lead batter in the first inning in Koshien history. He pulled the 133 km slider of Sendai Ikuei starting pitcher Yuda Toma and passed it over the right wall.

Keio, who took the first run, made first and second bases with a hit and a walk after one out, and after two outs, he ran away with a shortstop infield hit to make it 2-0.

When the lead batter walked to base in the second inning, Keio made a sacrifice bunt with one out and second base. Minato, who hit a home run in his first at-bat, scored an RBI with a right-handed hit and ran away 3-0.

In the bottom of the second inning, Sendai Ikuei secured a chance for the second and third bases safely with a hit by the lead batter and a double. After getting one out with a strikeout, he made up for one point with a ground ball to second baseman.

Then, in the 3rd inning, the lead batter hit 4 balls and the shortstop threw an error, so he got a chance to 2nd and 3rd base safely. 1 out with shortstop’s fly ball, 3rd baseman’s grounder ran home and was caught in a narrow strike and out, so 2 out, 2nd and 3rd base became. The pitcher’s wild throwing made up for one run and chased it 3-2.스포츠토토

Sendai Ikuei seized a chance to tie the game with a double as the lead batter in the 4th inning. However, it was 2 outs with consecutive strikeouts, and when the pitcher grounded, the pitcher’s throwing error made it 2 out, 1st and 3rd base. He failed to tie the game by striking out.

In Sendai Ikuei, ace Takahashi took the mound as a relief pitcher in the 5th inning, but after two outs, even a defensive error overlapped, allowing 5 runs and collapsing.

He allowed a left-handed double that went beyond the height of the third baseman with two outs on first base, making the score 4-2. Then, with a walk, it became 2nd, 1st and 2nd base. The left fielder ran out to the batted ball that floated high in the left middle and attempted a diving catch, but failed to catch it. The score was 5-2, and 2nd and 3rd base followed.

A fatal mistake was made. Both runners hit home as the left fielder and center fielder tried to catch each other and missed a normal fly ball. The score was 7-2, and a right-handed hit from 2nd base made it 8-2.

After starter Suzuki blocked it well with 3 hits, 4 strikeouts and 2 runs (1 earned) in 4 innings, ace Oyake Masaki took the mound as the second pitcher in the bottom of the 5th inning. In the semifinals on the 21st, Oyake, who won a shutout with 118 pitches, pitched 5 scoreless innings.

Oyake blocked the 5th and 6th innings with a triple strike. He allowed a double to the right after two outs in the seventh inning, but was blocked without allowing a run on a shortstop grounder. In the 8th inning, after two deaths, he was hit consecutively, but the first baseman overcame the crisis with a ground ball. In the ninth inning, the lead batter went on base with a hit, but the follow-up three batters were treated as criminal hits to confirm the championship.
